Immediately after, I went and commented on the post on Georgia's instagram introducing myself and telling people where to get the shirt.
And in the days that followed, my followers, who are everywhere, tagged me any time it was reposted.
At the time, the t-shirts were funding a scholarship I founded in the name of Greyson Jones, who passed as a result of transphobia. After the surge of orders from David's visibility, we raised $10,000.00 for Greyson's scholarship.
And I used my new income to support as many trans-owned creators as I could. I purchased t-shirts, art, tattoos, and other products and I answered as many mutual aid calls as I could.
I wanted everyone who supported me to benefit from this visibility.
And now I'm back where I started:
I am neurodivergent. Sensory issues are abundant and I picked shirts that are as sensory friendly as I could find. They are soft, breathable, durable, have a tearaway tag, and the sleeves are not too tight. The collar can be a bit constricting so please order up a size or message me for personal accommodations.
The shirts fit true to size. I have sizes from small to 6x for t-shirts and small to 5x for hoodies. The shirts on the website are unisex. Order up if you like a looser fit. Order up if you need a looser collar. Order up if you have a large chest.
I can do them custom if it's a dysphoria issue but remember that these shirts are a political statement and not a fashion statement.
Take care of my family first, then direct action and mutual aid.
Prior to June, I gave $5 from every single shirt to the Greyson Jones Memorial Scholarship up to $10k. I also support as many trans-owned businesses as I can.
Not anymore. I don't have the capacity to fulfill custom orders anymore.
The short answer is no. The long answer is: during the summer months, I will sometimes take tank top orders for sizes up to 2x. I cannot get tank tops up to 6x so I won't put them on the site because everyone deserves an equal shopping experience. I hope to change this very soon and have new leads.
Probably not. Again, not a fashion statement.
People wishing to wear one of the t-shirt designs but have a financial barrier, can sign up to receive a free shirt. Sometimes my followers will ask to sponsor someone on the list. They pay for the shirt and I send a free shirt to the person who signed up. Over 300 people have been sponsored.
Now, you can both apply for the list and sponsor a shirt directly through the site! Check it out!
In the past we have vehemently refused to make anything for kids for safety reasons. Those reasons were that kids didn't have the ability to fully consent to wearing messages of activism and we still believe that's true. The majority of our shirts will always be for grown ups only.
However, and with your kids' safety in mind, we have now developed a kid's safe space shirt. And to accompany the shirt, we are launching a children's book to give your kids the tools to have some of these conversations themselves in regards to being a safe space and what that means.
If you have a kiddo who REALLY wants to show their support for a transgender friend, or sibling, I encourage you to check out the stickers, and even my enamel pins.
Thanks so much for understanding!
